Our Programs
The BK’s classstructuremeans thatevery BK’s program will follow a two-week planbased around a set of skill competencies relevant to each developmental milestone. Each competency has been selected to establish a sound development of body mechanics allowing gymnasts to develop safely and correctly to progress to a more advanced class stream.
Programs are designed to educate, be engaging and fun and ensure correct techniques and basic to advanced body mechanics.
BK’s Gymnastics Marrickville offers programs that are designed to create a fun learning pathway to help your child progress from a beginner, who’s figuring out how everything works, to an intermediate or advanced gymnast.
- Little Stars – 0 to 5 years; parent assisted
- Gym Fundamentals – 5 to 8 years
- Club Gym – 9 to 13+
- Ninja Stars – 5 to 10+ years
- All Stars Academy – Team Gym & Competitive Women’s Gymnastics
- Holiday program 4yr+: entertain the kids with gymnastics in school holidays with 3 hours of fun-filled gymnastics classes – a different theme each day!

Along with the weekly programs, BK’s Gymnastics Coaches will teach gymnasts how to use their bodies to progress to more advanced levels. Each program includes a range of elements including strength, coordination, flexibility, mobility, support, and balance.
PLUS, kids can showcase their progress and celebrate achievements with our Check-In Week and BK Carnival.

About BK’s Gymnastics Marrickville
BK’s Gymnastics Marrickville is devoted to ensuring the benefits of gymnastics are being provided in ways that enhance the ability and quality of each individual.
Our gymnastics lessons are aimed at children from 3 months to 12 years, however as it’s a sport that can cater to all ages and abilities, we will design classes that meet the needs and expectations of the broader community.
Our programming, which is aligned Recreational Gymnastics Australia, is designed to create a fun, interactive learning pathway to help your child progress from a beginner, who’s figuring out how everything works, to an intermediate or advanced gymnast. All while developing essential physical and behavioural skills, and a life-long passion for leading a healthy, happy life that encompasses sport and recreation.
Gymnastics is the third most popular sport for kids under 12 (Ausplay, 2020), and offers many benefits:
It develops fundamental movement skills including physical, social and cognitive skills
It enhances physical self-concept in all Victorian primary age year groups at a faster rate than schools’ standard PE curriculum (Rudd, 2016)
It helps kids learn risk management and goal setting.

The NSW Government is helping kids get active with the Active Kids program.
The Active Kids program provides two $100 vouchers for parents, guardians and carers of school-enrolled children to use towards sport and active recreation costs each year. Apply for your voucher click here
